Instrument mapping is the functionality to configure investor's execution instruments on the platform.
Your platform will be delivered to you with the instrument configuration requested with the deployment documentation.
If you would like to make changes to the instrument list, you need to map the trading instruments used by fund manager / or available through the feed of your liquidity provider with the local (platform) execution instruments and make sure all the external specifications are set correctly.
You can use the scrolls and buttons to review the report and current settings of each instrument. Each value is clickable and gives you a modification options.
You can use the top toolbar to search for specific instruments according to specific connection or keywords, and add, remove or distribute columns for the better view.
You can manage each instrument by using Action drop-down menu:
Enable/Disable - activate or deactivate the mapping rule
Routing settings - check and modify data-feed level for the asset class of specific instrument
Each symbol has a number of settings to modify. Settings depend on the asset class of the symbol.
Fractional trading setting can enable support of fractional share on B-book for Equities and ETFs symbols.
In case investor volume is calculated for less than minimum unit, then the trade can still be open with less volume than the minimum unit set for the specific product.
For example AAPL symbol supports minimum trading lot is 1000 unit. If volume on investor account is calculated for less than 1000 unit, in that case the order with less volume will be placed.
