Strategies performance

TradeSocio NewUX Investor Experience

Each strategy available on the platform can be analysed using the strategy performance module.

Performance module summarizes all details of the strategy growth, information about the account, advanced statistical analysis and trading history specifications.

Pick a strategy from the list and click to activate it. The calculations will be done instantly considering the up-to-date values.

Strategy information

You can review the specific information about the selected strategy by clicking on Info sign in the top right corner of the module. The More Information pop-up will appear with strategy description, specifications and charges details.

You can also subscribe to news and updates published by the strategy by clicking on Follow.

Strategy performance

You can navigate performance module by choosing the relevant tab with the necessary category of information.

All statistics are updated and recalculated in the live time.

The top bar of the module includes the basic performance parameters:

• Return - the total return since the inception

• Last month - the previous month return

• YTD - return since the beginning of the current year

• Max DD - maximum balance/equity deviation achieved since the inception

Use the menu under the top bar to navigate the advanced performance charts and tables with the following information:

• Growth

• Equity

• Returns

• VAMI

• Contract Size

• Drawdown

• Statistics

• Instruments

Each tab includes the detailed breakdown of the data for each month individually and for each year separately.

Charts are available for visual representation and in-depth analysis up with breakdown up to daily values of each parameter.

Each chart can be zoomed to review the particular time-frame.

Sort out the table with monthly and yearly values according to your needs and use scrolls to navigate. Click to lock the highlight on the desired row.

Growth

Growth refer to the percentage change of strategy revenues within the specified period of time. Analysis of the growth rates can be beneficial in assessing and predicting the future performance.

Equity

Equity report provides exact end-of-the-month values. The chart provides equity and balance end-of-the-month and end-of-the-day values. Switch to the Day view and use the mouse-over to look up for the particular date.

Returns

Return represents the change in the strategy appreciation or depreciation achieved during a specific period of time, expressed as a percentage.

The table values show the return achieved each month and each year. Switch to the Day chart to check the daily return figures.

VAMI

A value added monthly index tracks the monthly performance of a hypothetical $1000 investment over a period of time.

Contract Size

Contract size report shows the total volume traded by the strategy at the specific periods of time.

Drawdown

Maximum drawdown of the strategy represents the maximum balance to equity deviation expressed in percentage.

Statistics

Statistics report consists of detailed breakdown of strategy return, trade information and advanced risk parameters statistics.

Instruments

Instruments report is the detailed information for each symbol traded by the strategy: number of executed trades, total PnL, profit factor, % of the profitable trades and the volume traded estimated in contract size.

Holdings

Holdings report shows the percentage of each symbol in total positions.

The in-depth analysis of the strategy performance helps to make right decision before proceeding with an investment and for broker to market the strategy.
