In order to invest in ETFs you will need to open a trading allocation using your investment account.

Open trading allocation

You can invest all your funds deposited to the allocation or a part of it.

You will be able to use this trading allocation for investing in ETFs, Equities, Mutual funds and for opening trades in Trading module.

In case you invest a part of your funds in the trading allocation, then the remaining balance of the investment account can be used for investing in Strategies, SMA, Thematic baskets and through Robo Advisory module.

You will need to follow these easy steps to invest in ETFs:

  • Open a new trading allocation

  • Pick the ETF from the fund list

  • Click on Invest in the top right corner of the ETF performance page​

  • Choose Investment amount

Investment amount is the actual sum which you would like to invest in this fund.

The amount will be automatically adjusted to accommodate full share price. For example if the current price of one share of is 45 USD, you will be able to invest 45 USD and buy 1 share, 90 USD and buy 2 shares, 135 USD to buy 3 shares etc.

  • Click Submit to start your investment.

  • You will receive confirmation once investment request is confirmed

Now once the price of the fund will change it will affect your open trade PnL.

You can review your investment performance from Investor report module in Trades report.

You can also check your investments from Allocations report.

The total amount of investments will be summarized in one allocation entry and display the total balance and current equity of the allocations.

Exchange product allocation
  • Current balance - is calculated as SUM (Volume * Open price)

  • Current equity - is calculated as SUM (Volume * Current price)

  • Return % - the total cumulative return of all your self-traded allocations

Current trade report

You can allow investors to open unlimited amount of trades on the same equity product. For example investor can buy 10 shares of AAPL and open another trade on 5 shares, without closing the previous trade.

Otherwise you can restrict investors to be able to open only one trade on one equity product.

This setting is controlled from Broker Admin - Control panel - Trading settings - Multi Trade setting
