In current application we have provision for investment in to invest and mirror fund using copy trading. Now we are including mutual fund module. User can buy mutual fund.
In this document we shall discuss the procedure to start/stop investment in the mutual Fund.
Investor can view mutual fund tab on the find fund page as shown below:
Each fund listed have “Fund fact sheet” button as shown:
When user clicks on this button then fund fact sheet gets open with the invest option as shown below:
When user clicks on the “Invest” button then following pop-up
User can enter the amount to invested and click on the submit button and following message displayed on the screen:
Note: Invested amount can be adjusted using slider only
Request sent by the investor can be approved or rejected by the broker admin a shown below:
Broker Admin🡪Allocation🡪Pending allocation
For every allocation with the mutual fund trade is placed and listed as shown below:
When we start the allocation with the mutual fund then we have entries in the trade🡪Open trades tab as shown below:
User can stop the allocation from allocation Action stop allocation as shown below:
User can stop allocation from Dashboard 🡪Portfolio summary as shown below:
Stop allocation request has to be sent to the broker admin. Broker admin can approve/reject the same from Allocation🡪Pending close request as shown below:
Once allocation is stopped then trades are listed under closed trades as shown below:
Note: In this version for mutual fund partial closure of the allowance is not allowed.
In above example it can be observed that once we stop the allocation all the positions open at different time closed at once.
One investor can invest in same mutual fund more than once. For every new allocation separate trade should be displayed in the trades tab. Allocation details are combined in single allocation.
Allocation statement is displayed as shown below:
Balance and equity for the mutual fund allocations calculated using following formula:
Equity in mutual fund
= NAV * Current price
Balance of allocation in mutual fund
= Nav* Open price
No of units i.e. volume can be calculated using following formulae:
